Our Story

A slower kind of stay. 

Salt & Meadow Retreats was born from a brother and sister who grew up exploring the Essex coast, its wide skies, salt marshes and quiet harbour villages. They started this company to champion the Essex countryside, sharing the landscapes they love with others who seek something slower and more intentional.

Every home we welcome is hand picked. Considered interiors, proper kettles, real books on the shelf, and a view worth waking up to. We're starting small and intentional, and we'd love you to be part of it from the very beginning.
